December 27: Davis, California- The Davis Enterprise- "Book spotlights Spaniards' contribution to Winters, by Debra Lo Guercio. "Gloria Lopez says she's always had an appreciation for history, which may be what prompted her to collect and document a local history that had been overlooked--that of the Spanish immigrants in the Winters community." Read article.

December 1 : Winters, California- Join the author, Gloria Lopez for "An American Paella" Book & Documentary book signing.

November 2007  
November 8: SACRAMENTO CITY COLLEGE- Sacramento, California- Gloria Lopez, professor of Family and Consumer Science, will announce the release of her new book and documentary “An American Paella.” She will discuss the process of writing a book and recording oral histories. (Noon to 1:00pm in Learning Resource Center- 105.)

November 3: Winters, California- Join the author, Gloria Lopez for "An American Paella" Book & Documentary Release Celebration!
